![]() It sounds like we hadn’t been told about the change of occupancy and had been sending letters about the meter to the previous person at the property. I’m sorry our technicians caused the person you’re caring for such distress. Don't trust them, they're thieves√ no excuses please and thank you This company is a disgrace and full of excuses. British Gas have already made it clear it shouldn't have gotten this far. ![]() Plain and simple, you want to rob your new customers and put their health at risk. You won't let her switch to a dependable supplier because of someone else's debt. She wasn't able to be put through to even complaints because of, "technical problems". It also means she's not been able to use the sleep machine she needs because it relies on electricity. Reason being of course, a completely different persons debt to your company is now being paid by her. This lady has now had to go almost a week without energy supply because when she put her money in she got nothing to show for it. This also means of course any warrant wasn't for the current occupier. I will be suggesting going back to British gas as they at least have some consideration for their customers! In response to the excuses, There were letters sent to the previous occupant but not being for her, she didn't open them. The noise made could've easily sent her into shock in her condition but there's been no apology, only further nuisance from them. It's a disgrace that they are allowed to treat customers this way. They left without securing her door after them and when she spent the next week fearing for her safety because there was no word to let her know what happened. Despite being terrified by the sound of someone forcing their way into her home uninvited she let them in only for one of them to say they'd let themselves in the week before but left when seeing her dog. These letters weren't addressed to the female occupier who was living there at the time. ![]() Their excuse being they've sent letters to the former occupier stating they needed a meter change. I'm a Carer for a sufferer of anxiety and sleep apnoea who was rudely awoken to the sound of four of their men trying to drill their way into 'her' home first thing of a morning. This company prey on vulnerable people in a vile manner. I give 1 star because it won't let me go any lower.
